Terms of service
Clear expectations for creators, brands and every collaboration.
Effective 24 October 2026 · Operated by PostPaddy LLC
1. Who operates Collab
Collab is a creator collaboration service operated by PostPaddy LLC. These Terms govern your use of Collab, including accounts, campaign listings, applications and collaboration workspaces. Creating an account or accepting these Terms forms an agreement between you and PostPaddy LLC. If you act for a brand or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. You may browse public opportunities without an account; a verified creator account is required to send an application. If you do not accept these Terms, do not register or use the account features.
2. Accounts and accurate information
Provide accurate contact details, account information, social profile links and application information, and keep them up to date. You are responsible for protecting your password and for activity you authorise through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not impersonate someone else, create misleading profiles or share another person's confidential information without permission.
Social audience and engagement figures are supplied by creators. Collab does not independently verify those figures or guarantee a creator's audience, a brand's reputation, campaign performance or suitability. Brands should carry out their own checks before selecting a creator.
3. The role of the platform
Collab provides tools to discover opportunities, exchange applications, agree on assignments, share links, review work and record manual payments. A campaign listing is an invitation to apply, not a promise of selection, earnings or employment. Unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing, the brand and creator are the parties responsible for the campaign work and compensation.
Using Collab does not itself create an employment, agency, partnership or joint venture relationship with PostPaddy LLC. This description does not override a legal relationship that applicable law establishes from the actual circumstances.
4. Campaigns, selection and acceptance
Brands must state the work type, deliverables, eligibility requirements, compensation, deadlines and any publication requirements clearly. Creators must review the brief before applying. An application does not automatically create or accept an assignment. Creators may withdraw an application while the withdrawal control remains available.
When a brand selects a creator, Collab creates an assignment and snapshots its deliverables, amount and deadline. The creator must then explicitly accept the assignment before work begins. Later edits to the public brief do not automatically change the existing assignment. Agree any proposed changes in writing in the task conversation before relying on them.
UGC-only assignments require content creation without social posting. Posting and Create + Post assignments require the publication links and live periods shown in the agreed brief. Creators are responsible for obtaining permission to use music, images, trademarks, likenesses and other material included in their work.
5. Submission, review and cancellation
Submit working links to each required content file or published post. Choose sharing permissions that allow the receiving brand to review the work, and avoid including unrelated private data. Brands should review submissions against the agreed brief and explain any requested revisions in the task workspace.
Approval, completion and payment are separate records. A revision request should relate to the agreed work; extra deliverables or expanded usage should be agreed separately. Cancelling an assignment in Collab records that decision but does not, by itself, decide whether compensation is owed for work already performed. The parties must resolve any remaining obligations under their agreement and applicable law.
6. Compensation and manual payment
Compensation may be cash, a product, a combination, commission or a negotiated arrangement, as stated in the assignment. Brands and creators must clarify payment timing, currency, product delivery, commission calculations, expenses and applicable taxes before acceptance. Collab does not provide affiliate-sale tracking or verify commission calculations.
Payments are arranged outside Collab. PostPaddy LLC does not hold campaign funds, operate escrow, charge a creator's bank account or automatically transfer campaign compensation. A Paid status records a brand or administrator's statement that an external payment was made; it is not independent proof that funds reached the creator. Raise a missing or incorrect payment with the brand and contact support if assistance is needed.
Creators must provide correct payout details. Brands may use payout information only to arrange and reconcile the relevant compensation. Each party remains responsible for its own tax reporting and statutory obligations. Any future platform fees will be disclosed before they apply; these Terms do not authorise undisclosed subscription or automatic bank charges.
7. Content ownership and permitted use
You retain rights you own in your content. Providing a link or applying for a gig does not automatically transfer copyright or grant a brand advertising rights. The brand and creator must separately agree any ownership transfer, permitted channels, licence period, editing rights, attribution, exclusivity and paid-media usage, including whitelisting or similar account access.
You give PostPaddy LLC the limited permission needed to store, display and transmit the information and content you provide for operating and supporting Collab and the relevant collaboration. That permission does not give us an unrestricted right to sell or use your creative work in unrelated advertising. Collab software, its brand assets and other platform materials remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Responsible use and advertising disclosures
Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit fraudulent briefs, misleading audience figures, infringing content, malware, harassment or unlawful discriminatory requirements. Do not attempt unauthorised access, evade account restrictions, scrape private information or use personal data obtained through Collab for unrelated marketing.
Brands and creators are responsible for complying with the rules that apply to their campaign, including advertising disclosures, truthful endorsements, product claims and the relevant social network's policies. Do not request a misleading endorsement or conceal a material relationship. Collab does not post to social accounts or require their passwords in this version.
9. Privacy and support access
Our Privacy Policy explains how Collab handles account, application, collaboration and payout information. Brand reviewers may receive the information relevant to applications and assignments in their workspace. Authorised administrators can help manage a brand workspace; administrative actions retain the administrator's identity in the activity record. Do not put unnecessary sensitive information in pitches, messages or shared files.
10. Suspension and closing an account
We may restrict an account, campaign or feature when reasonably needed to investigate misuse, protect users or meet legal obligations. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give an opportunity to contact support, except where doing so would compromise security, an investigation or a legal restriction.
You can request account closure through the support contact below. Closure does not cancel obligations already owed to another user. We may retain limited records needed for payment reconciliation, a dispute, legal requirements or security, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
11. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a reliable service, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, successful applications or campaign results. Keep your own copies of important briefs, creative files and payment evidence. Third-party file hosts and social networks are responsible for their own services and may change or remove linked material.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from another user's conduct or third-party downtime. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections. We remain responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
12. Texas law and resolving disputes
Texas law and applicable United States federal law govern these Terms, without displacing mandatory rights that apply where you live. Please contact our legal team first with enough detail to understand a dispute and a reasonable opportunity to respond. This does not prevent urgent relief or a complaint to a regulator.
Unless applicable mandatory law requires otherwise, disputes about these Terms may be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in Texas, United States. A separate campaign agreement may govern a dispute between a brand and a creator. These Terms do not impose a separate mandatory arbitration process or waive non-waivable rights.
13. Updates and contact
We will publish an effective date and version when updating these Terms. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate notice through the service or account email, and request renewed acceptance where required. Updates do not silently rewrite a previously accepted campaign assignment.
